HIGH BANK CONTINUES TO WIN ACCOLADES
COLUMBUS, OH — We are thrilled to announce we received accolades from the John Barleycorn Awards and the Sunset International Spirits Competition.
The John Barleycorn Awards is an international competition created by spirits writers to recognize the preeminent distillers, marketers, and designers of the spirits industry.
The competition gets its name from the centuries-old spirits metaphor John Barleycorn, who was featured in the works of writers, poets, and lyricists like Jack London, Robert Burns, and Steve Winwood.
Each entry was blind-tasted and scored on a 100-point scale for appearance, aroma, taste and finish. Awards were determined based on points. This year, there were over 300 entries in each whiskey category.
We received the following awards:
GOLD
WHISKEY WAR DOUBLE OAKED
WHISKEY WAR BARREL PROOF
SILVER
WHISKEY WAR
MIDNIGHT CASK
The Sunset International Spirits Competition is held by Sunset magazine, sharing the best of life in the West―from travel and food to home and garden―with an audience of more than 6 million.
