HIGH BANK ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCT
COLUMBUS, OH — New year, new product. We are excited to announce MIDNIGHT CASK BARREL PROOF will be released this January.
If wine and whiskey had a baby, it would be Midnight Cask. This High Bank staple is a blend of Tawny Port wine from Australia and the award-winning Whiskey War Barrel Proof. Whiskey-lovers wanted a barrel strength version of Midnight Cask, and their wish was granted — this new product will be released at barrel strength.
"I am not a cocktail guy. Every High Bank spirit is made to drink neat. If I am feeling like a “cocktail” for a night cap, I typically reach for Midnight Cask — it’s a cocktail in a glass. If you’re feeling really fancy, add an orange peel.
With this new product, I wanted to bring out more of the Whiskey War Barrel Proof rye spice to the blend. Midnight Cask Barrel Proof has a great balance of sweet and smooth notes from the port wine with a more intense barrel strength finish. We are excited to continue to expand our portfolio and offer an even wider variety of products.

Midnight Cask Barrel Proof Batch #1 will be released to the public at the High Bank retail store (1051 Goodale Blvd. Columbus, OH 43212) on Friday, January 21st. It will be available in retail stores starting this spring.

Tasting Notes: Whiskey forward with a buttery plum and raisin wine note, followed by a white pepper spice from the Whiskey War Barrel Proof.
