COLUMBUS, OH — The Best Blended Whiskey in America is back. Originally a Barrel Select product, Whiskey War Double Double Oaked will now be a separate product.
Whiskey War Double Double Oaked Batch #2 will be released on December 9th. Hines speaks to why this specific release is highly anticipated.
Double Double Oaked won “Best Blended Whiskey In America” at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, giving us back-to-back wins in this category which is unheard of for a distillery our size, especially one located in Ohio. Last year, 242 bottles sold out in 3 minutes. This year, we will be releasing over 1,000 bottles. We are extremely excited to have this bottle become its own product, separate from the barrel select line. Our Double Oaked fans have become oak super fans, so I am can’t wait to hear their reactions to Double Double.

Our classic rye-heavy mash bill aged in a new oak barrel and then in a second new oak barrel for an average age of 5 years. Notes of oak and caramel with a hint of pepper.
Bottles will be available for purchase at highbankdistillery.com on Friday, December 9th at 11AM. Online purchases with in-person pickup at our Grandview location ONLY. A very limited number of bottles will also be available at Ohio Liquor Stores starting in January.
