WHISKEY WAR DOUBLE OAKED BATCH #2 RELEASE

COLUMBUS OH — It’s back, and some might say better than ever…

Whiskey War Double Oaked Batch #2 is set to be released on Thursday, July 22nd at 11AM.

“We were astounded by the public’s response to our first Double Oaked batch. It sold out in 24 hours. This time around, we increased the batch size by several barrels to meet the demand and to make sure everyone who wants to try it, gets a chance.” - Adam Hines, Master Distiller

Hines explains that Batch #1 also won a Gold award at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This judging includes a blind taste test from some of the world’s most renowned pallets.

Whiskey War Double Oaked is our same original Whiskey War Barrel Proof blend, given a second maturation in a brand new charred oak barrel for an additional 12-18 months. Hines explains he is “really excited about the flavor of Batch #2. It still has those sweet notes, but has a longer finish this time around.”

The flavor is a rye-heavy mash bill whose nose is dominated by oak and caramel. Your palate enjoys heavy oak notes that are sweet on the front and still end with a hint of pepper. An overall sweet, earthy, and smooth experience that is easy to drink at 100 proof. This product is usually blended at around 2 1/2 years old and then spends another 18 months in a new oak barrel, for a total age of 4+ years.

This is a limited-release product and can only be purchased while supplies last at our High Bank restaurant and retail store located at 1051 Goodale Blvd. in Columbus, Ohio.
