High Bank Distillery Co. is excited to announce the release of three special-edition bottles just in time for Valentine’s Day. These limited offerings are sure to delight whiskey lovers and collectors alike, making them the perfect gift for the holiday of love.

This is a very special release. With these three bottles - it’s cool to see the journey of Whiskey War. All of our products start out as Whiskey War Barrel Proof, then are turned into a completely different flavor experience. Cigar Cask is our Barrel Proof in an Amburana cask, and Barrel Select is our Barrel Proof aged for a second or third time in a specialty cask. It’s fun for our team to experiment - it really is an art form.
In addition, releasing Barrel Proof Batch #100 is a milestone for our entire team. It’s crazy to think that from 2018 to 2021, we made 12 batches of Barrel Proof. Now, at the beginning of 2025, we are on Batch #100. We’re excited to see how the nuances develop as the batch number increases.

WHISKEY WAR BARREL SELECT - DOUBLE OAKED CIGAR CASK

Whiskey War Double Oaked that has been aged a third time in a Brazilian Amburana barrel.
Tasting Notes: Tobacco, oatmeal cream pie, bruleed banana on the nose, followed by charred cedar, cinnamon apple cereal, caramel cream, tobacco on the palate, with a tobacco and leather finish.
WHISKEY WAR CIGAR CASK

Whiskey War Cigar Cask is High Bank’s signature Whiskey War Barrel Proof, given a second maturation in a Brazilian Amburana barrel for as little as six or up to ninety days.
Tasting Notes: Banana pudding, vanilla wafer, pineapple juice on the nose, followed by a palate of caramel cream, coffee cake with ground cinnamon, baked pineapple and cedar on the finish.
WHISKEY WAR BARREL PROOF

750 mL | 118.80 proof | 59.40% alc/vol
Whiskey War Barrel Proof is a blended rye-heavy mash that starts sweet on the front of your palate and finishes with a hint of white pepper & spice.
Tasting Notes: Oak, rye bread, orange peel on the nose, followed by a palate of charred marshmellow, apple butter, finishing with citrus zest, leather and clove.
All three releases will be available for purchase starting Friday, February 14th at 11AM. In-person purchases only at our three retail locations in Grandview, Gahanna and Westerville.
