COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio Liquor teamed up with High Bank Distillery Co. to hand-pick five Double Oaked barrels.

Whiskey War Double Oaked is the award-winning Whiskey War Barrel Proof, given a second maturation in a brand new charred oak barrel for an additional 6-12 months.

Ohio Liquor is set to release an exclusive, single-barrel selection of Whiskey War Double Oaked this fall. The product will begin hitting shelves across Ohio this fall at a price of $69.99 (plus tax) and will be available while supplies last.
The five barrels were hand-picked by the High Bank and OHLQ teams. These products are not available outside of Ohio. Each bottle label includes the selection name, barrel number and tasting notes.

Whiskey War Double Oaked is a rye-heavy mash bill aged for 5+ years and bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). The palate varies with each batch. Read below to see what batch you want to try first…

WOOD AND SMOKEY.
A balance of toasted oak, vanilla & brown spice on the nose. Toasted oak, white pepper, & marshmallow coat the palate with a long minty, clove finish.
BARREL 007 - LICENSE TO CHILL
DOUBLE OAKED SEVEN.
Caramel, vanilla and oak on the nose with a hint of citrus. A bright earthy and citrus mouth feel complimented by a caramel, vanilla, & creamsicle finish.

A melody of orange, coffee, & white chocolate on the nose with a dry earthy, cherry & oak palate screaming for an encore.
