High Bank takes home a Best In Class award as well as 7 medals at the 2023 Fall John Barleycorn Awards.
The John Barleycorn Awards is an international competition created by spirits writers to recognize the preeminent distillers, marketers, and designers of the spirits industry.
The competition gets its name from the centuries-old spirits metaphor John Barleycorn, who was featured in the works of writers, poets, and lyricists like Jack London, Robert Burns, and Steve Winwood.
Each entry was blind-tasted and scored on a 100-point scale for appearance, aroma, taste and finish. Awards were determined based on points.
High Bank Distillery Co.’s High Bank Vodka was named Best Vodka.
At the 2022 Fall John Barleycorn competition, High Bank Vodka was named Best Vodka overall. This year, High Bank spirits also received 7 other awards.
